Medicine has always been a lifelong passion for Dr. Strouthou.
She pursued her goal in Leipzig, Germany, after elementary school. Leipzig University’s Medical School is Germany’s second-oldest. She studied plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery at the University Hospital of Leipzig, Schwerin’s Clinic of Aesthetic Surgery and Breast Center, and Leipzig’s HTC/FESSH-certified Clinic St. Georg. (Hand Trauma Committee of the European Societies for Surgery of the Hand).
She learned the latest cosmetic, reconstructive, and microsurgery techniques from famous experts. She studied the “Role of bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP-7) in appetite regulation and adipogenesis” at Leipzig’s obesity clinic for her Ph.D. Her first real-world exposure was post-bariatric surgery and skin cancer removal on morbidly obese patients. After that, she specialized in facial and breast cosmetics and breast surgery.
Breast surgery captivated her after cancer. She learned how to reconstruct breasts with implants and her own cells in microsurgery. She worked in a burn centre during her training, treating burns and their affects. She studied Nutritional Medicine at the BTB Institute in Germany while working. After training and testing by breast cancer therapy and recovery experts, the German Society of Senology awarded Dr. med. Strouthou a DAS certificate.
She visits several conferences each year because she believes that staying current on the latest plastic surgery techniques is her duty and necessary for treating her patients. She is a fellow of the DGPRG, DGCH, ISAPS, and German Association of Surgeons. (DAS). (German Society of Senology).
She moved back to Cyprus after 16 years in Germany. Plastic surgeon since March 2020 Dr. med. Strouthou has led the Limassol-based Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus’ Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery Department since January 1, 2021. She works at her Larnaca clinic and the European Institute of Plastic Surgery in Nicosia and of course is the founder and resident Dr at Isthetics.
Alexandra is an aesthetician with 13 years of experience and holds a degree in aesthetics from the University of Thessaloniki. She has worked for many years in well-known hotel chains of European SPAs and in Medical Therapy Centers of Thessaloniki. She specializes in the treatment of various skin problems of aesthetic nature and use of facial and body machines (Alexandriti, Diode, IPL). She is always in line with the most modern techniques and products since she is constantly attending seminars in well-known companies of professional cosmetics.
Alexandra is both professional and experienced but here greatest asset is her personal attention to each and every customer and her pleasant personality.

Anna has studied Aesthetics (Three Year Higher Diploma) at Cyprus College and has been a professional beautician for 9 years. She specialises in facial treatments that address and solve the problems that the patient has regarding the skin. In body treatments, cellulite, tightening and laser treatments for permanent hair reduction.
Anna is always pleasant and eager to answer your questions and make you feel wellcomed.

Marianna comes from Georgia and has been living in Cyprus for over 20 years. She has always worked in the field of customer service. Since the opening day of ISTHETICS SPA she has taken over the duties as Secretary and customer service.
